The other day Nicole and I were sitting on the couch watching TV. We were mainly ignoring Areyan as she ran around and played with her toys. All of a sudden Nicole and I looked over and she had a plastic rolling pin and was taking a baseball batter's stance. She swung the pin like a bat and then pretended to watch the imaginary ball fly off into the distance. She then said "Wow" as she continued to watch this ball. She then noticed us watching her and laughed and continued to play.
I have not taught her anything about baseball. The only places that I can think of her getting the idea from are my softball games (last game was over a month ago), an Orem Owlz game (also a while ago), or from a Dora the Explorer episode about Boots getting his first hit. The latter seems to be the most likely. Regardless of the source I was a happy father watching my daughter play baseball for a few minutes.

ha ha! It is imperative that you and spence have sons! Remember that they are GIRLS! :) Despite the slight tom boyishness! Gracie would rather play with cars than dolls! :)
I bet you ARE a very proud father Heston. I would have loved to have seen it. Wow, Areyan is growing up.
