We have been going to the doctor for several weeks now, because Emrey doesn't seem to be growing. The last time we went to the doctor she had actually lost weight, so the doctor was pretty concerned. She recommended that we have an upper GI done on her to make sure she didn't have pylorix disease or something wrong with her intestines. We took her in Tuesday July 7, 2009 to get the upper GI done. She did really well, until they decided they needed to put a tube down her nose to get to her intestines so they could get a better picture. I didn't blame her though. I would be pretty mad if they put a tube down my nose too. The good news is that nothing was anatomically wrong with her, so she doesn't have to have surgery. They still don't know why she is not growing, but I am continuing to breastfeed and give her formula, and she seems to be doing better. She is really such a happy baby. We love her very much!

If I recall, Areyan was pretty darn small too! Maybe it was just compared to Skye. She's beautiful. Keep us posted.

Speaking of Lindsey's blog. I just made your two girls a little something similar to what she posted. I am pretty excited.
As for Emrey, good luck. You guys are in our prayers and I agree with Tiniel...she is beautiful (just like her mommy).
